Who we are

What we collect
When you send a cake enquiry we collect your name, contact number, email address, and any photos or reference images you share with us. We also collect the details of your cake request, such as the date, servings, flavours and occasion.
Why we collect it
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry and to quote, plan and fulfil your cake order. We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell it.
Our lawful basis under POPIA
We process your information on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the enquiry form or message us. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.
Who we share it with
Nobody, other than the service providers we use to run this website and store enquiries on our behalf. They may only process your information to provide those services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and order information for as long as needed to serve you, and generally no longer than three years after your last contact with us, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete your information sooner by emailing esthetic.cakes@gmail.com.

This site uses Google Analytics, along with Meta and TikTok advertising pixels, to measure how our advertising performs and to improve it. These tools set cookies and collect general usage information about your visit. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to request that we delete it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have not handled your information properly.
